I hope whoever reads this message has a bright and safe day. First of all I need to introduce myself. I am a 52 year old Mexican modeling clay teacher. Since I was not born in the United States, I apologize if my English is a bit rusty. I remember opening my Facebook account years ago after many invitations from friends using MySpace accounts and I am an elderly blogger who discovered from the beginning of the Internet how necessary it was to play fair by expressing ideas and meeting people from all over the world. via Internet. I'm not very technical and I'm sure I don't fully understand the jargon, etiquette, and rules of modern Internet use, but as a half-century-old user in an underdeveloped country, I do understand a few things. I can clearly recognize when a person is not educated and when they have problems relating to others (as I said before, I am a teacher, part of my job is to help children and adolescents learn to "fit in" in a group). And over the years, some of my students have helped me understand a bit who is a shitty publisher (if you'll excuse the expression), a troll, or a stalker. I spent the years between the tough decision my generation faced: stop using social media or trying to get along with it. And it is difficult because there is a lot of neurosis and schizophrenia when typing on a keyboard and thinking that the whole world hears everything you have to say. But on the other hand, I can always go back to the old ways and leave the seat for the younger ones. But again, why should it cease to exist (digitally) if not because some children (or adults who behave like children) want to force you to cease to exist? If you check the history of things that have been reported in my account, there are two types of infractions that usually point me out: First by sharing memes or images that were identified by Facebook agents as violent representations of the world war, specifically of Hitler, who in my case he is not a bloodthirsty hero, saint or demon. He was only the world leader who started the second most destructive conflict of the last millennium, which is no worse than the representations of hatred or admiration that millions of people share every day on their social networks. Second, there is a very sensitive issue: language. First of all, you will be able to understand that I am being polite by adapting my own language and writing something understandable for your age range and culture. But I was not born American and I am sure I would not wish it had been otherwise. I am Mexican as I said before, and in people of my age range and culture, speaking with a certain amount of bad words is not only a choice but a cultural sign of relaxation and closeness. I'm not going to give you an extensive lesson in cultural linguistics, but please understand that the standard of world communication is not set by Mark Zuckerberg or anyone else who works for him. Any culture and society has its own rules and those should not be set by any outsider. It will not be a mandate from any single self-proclaimed ruler of internet etiquette. There should be respect and understanding when someone should be more respectful of whatever culture they do not belong to and try to qualify it by hiding behind arguments of accepted moral or political correctness. Otherwise, it is mere dictatorship and absolutism, which could be pointed out as childish behavior that tries to make everyone talk like me, like a child born with a smartphone in hand. I would like to interpret the world as fair, bright and beautiful. my country, especially the younger ones who would do anything to impress the world community and pose as Americans to work against respect for our culture and traditions and over the years they are probably the ones who have repeatedly been become more critical and attacking of my statements and way of thinking. But if you can please have someone check it out coldly. I have never misused personal messages. I never harass, offend or attack people in any way. I don't use the internet to date or get a girl. I am a stable person with a stable relationship over the years, I never report accounts or posts because I believe in social justice, since social networks are for people aged 13 and over, we are supposed to expect that people be responsible for what you post and share.
So if you do this check and get the opposite, and I am constantly trying to force others to think my way, then you wasted your time with this letter, but I am an older adult who is constantly and unfairly denounced by people. they do not respect antiquity or cultural differences. So in the end, you might believe that I am wrong and that your country, your culture and your age range have every right to force others to think. and behave as you would like, and you may be right from your very biased and selfish point of view, but in the end, it will show how uneducated and shortsighted it is. Please do some personal judgment work.
It is never too late to change the bad for the good once and for all.
